Marissa Lessman

Marissa Lessman is a playwright and screenwriter based in Chicago.

She was recently a staff writer at Second City, Hollywood and has had the esteemed privilege of writing for such television shows as “Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!” and “Intern Diaries” (premiering on Youtube.)

She has studied improv and sketch writing at the world famous Groundlings Theatre and Improv Olympic in Chicago. She was the head writer for the critically acclaimed news website WTFPlanet.com.

She is also a staff writer for the Strawburry17 Youtube Channel and Northeast Children's Theatre Company in New York City, New York.

She is currently a resident playwright at Lookingglass Theatre as well as a creator/producer of several different sketch shows circulating throughout the Chicagoland area.

Lucas Guy Taylor

Lucas Guy Taylor is an independent filmmaker based in Los Angeles.

He earned his MFA in Screenwriting from DePaul University in 2017. While attending DePaul, he co-founded BBF Productions with classmate, Marissa Lessman.

In that time, the pair have written, directed, and/or produced a handful of short films together. By the end of 2019, Taylor wrote and directed his first feature film, “BREAK.” It is now available to stream on Amazon Prime.

In his spare time, Luke likes to spend time reading Green Arrow comics with his two cats, Bug and Willoughby. He also hosts a weekly film podcast called Bad Movie Brunch with fellow screenwriter and DePaul alum, Katie Grotzinger.
